Eligibility

Archive12 accepts submissions from the extended Chicago area and from art and design schools throughout Illinois. Work created by designers, agencies, companies and non-profit or government organizations located or based in Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry and Will counties will be accepted.

Student work from any school, college, university, academy or institute in the state of Illinois is also accepted.

Andrew Blauvelt of the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis

Andrew Blauvelt is curator of Architecture and Design and chief of communications and audience engagement at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis.

Tom Crabtree of Manual, San Francisco

Tom Crabtree is the founder and creative director of Manual, a design and branding agency in San Francisco.

Adam Michaels of Project Projects, New York

Adam Michaels is the cofounder of Project Projects, a design studio in New York producing commissioned work and independent curatorial, editorial and publishing projects.

Cheryl Towler Weese of StudioBlue, Chicago

Cheryl Towler Weese is founder and creative director of Studio Blue, a Chicago-based studio that works with museums, universities and other organizations that serve the public.

Alisa Wolfson of Leo Burnett and Lampo, Chicago

Alisa Wolfson joined Leo Burnett in 2008 and is SVP/Design Director, overseeing the agency’s department of design.

We’re mounting an exhibit of all selections at the Harrington College of Design gallery for the entire month of October. That’s plenty of time to take friends, associates and clients to view the best of Chicago’s design community. The gallery is open every day.
